The best way to contribute is by staying at the conference hotel and sharing not only the scientific programme, but also breakfasts, lunches, dinners, coffee breaks, and informal evenings with fellow participants. During your free time, you can enjoy relaxing activities together in the beautiful and peaceful surroundings of Sommarøy. Sommarøy village also offers a unique insight into how a traditional Norwegian coastal fishing and farming community has developed into a modern community combining fisheries, farming, aquaculture, tourism, and a vibrant service sector. Here, you can experience dramatic coastal scenery, beaches, local culture, and peaceful moments at the edge of the North Atlantic Ocean.
The hotel conference fee covers all your accommodation needs. NECS has arranged a full-board conference package with the hotel, including overnight accommodation, breakfast, lunch, a three-course dinner, and two coffee breaks with fruit and refreshments during each conference day, to a reasonable charge of: Single room: NOK 3,100 per person per night. Double room: NOK 2,385 per person per night (i.e. NOK 4,770 per double room per night). Please read details of the hotel regisrtratrion and fee below.
Hotel registration and accommodation: NECS will reserve your hotel room based on the information provided in the registration form below. The final rooming list will be submitted to the hotel two weeks before the conference. Upon arrival at Sommarøy Arctic Hotel, you will be asked to register your credit card details. Payment for your accommodation and hotel services will be made directly to the hotel at check-out. Please note that requesting accommodation through the NECS registration form constitutes a binding hotel reservation. In the event of a no-show, you may therefore be charged for the reserved accommodation. To avoid any cancellation charges, you must cancel your hotel reservation by e-mail no later than 1 May 2027, in accordance with the cancellation policy described below.

PAYMENT INSTRUCTIONS: Both exhibitors and participants register online on the form above. Choose the correct Class/Category) option in line 1. Further details are explained in the web registration. We ask all to pay with credit card. There is no need to pay by invoice issued by NECS. On registration you will receive a confirmation mail and a commercial invoice by mail. The invoice is both for companies and persons to document your conference expense claims to your company. In case of cancelations and any changes we can refund erroneous payments by Norwegian Bank/IBAN bank transactions or automatic reimbursement to the credit card used for payments on the registration form
Accommodation for non-residents: Sommarøy village offers several accommodation options within a short distance of the hotel. However, participants who are not staying at Sommarøy Arctic Hotel must pay a conference day-package fee of NOK 1,295 per day. This covers lunch, dinner, refreshments, and other conference-related costs. If you also wish to join the hotel breakfast, an additional charge of NOK XXXX will apply. NECS will provide the hotel with a list of non-resident participants. The applicable day-package and breakfast charges will then be paid directly at the hotel reception.
NECS is not in a position to compare these charges. We would, however, like to point out that Sommarøy Arctic Hotel has offered conference participants a very competitive rate for shared double rooms: NOK 1,080 per person per night, including breakfast. We believe this compares favourably with many nearby accommodation alternatives. Sharing a double room may therefore be both a convenient and cost-effective option.
Cancellations and refunds: Cancellation of participation must be done by mail to yngvar.thomassen@stami.no with copy to post@envirochem.no before May 1, 2027. Cancellations before this date will be refunded the minus a 10% handling charge, while cancellations after this date will not be refunded. To process any refunds we kindly ask you to register your bank account number (Norwegian bankaccount for national and IBAN for international participants) in the Web registration form (in case automatic reimbursements on credit cards do not work) . Our conference Web registration system complies with EU-GDPR for safe storage of personal information such as bank-ID-information.
