What is covered by a conference fee: The conference registration fee below cover all administrative expenses for NECS to make this an attractive and informative conference. This includes a modest contribution to all invites speakers (accommodation and some travel support when needed), support to MSc students, and some contributions to accommodation costs for the organizing committee (OC). Moreover NECS will contribute to a reception on Monday evening.The OC's contribution to NECS is voluntary work without any economic support except a desire to arrange an interesting conference. Moreover the conference fee contributes to cover administrative costs for: An informative website, marketing costs when needed, cost to print the programme and abstract book, running a modern conference registration, bank and accounting systems in compliance with Norwegian law.The NECS organizing committee also work on getting support from exhibitors and sponsors to cover some of the arrangement cost.

PAYMENT INSTRUCTIONS: Both exhibitors and participants register online on the form above. Choose the correct Class/Category) option in line 1. Further details are explained in the web registration. We ask all to pay with credit card. There is no need to pay by invoice issued by NECS. On registration you will receive a confirmation mail and a commercial invoice by mail. The invoice is for companies and persons for documentation of your conference expense claims to your company. If needed we can refund erroneous payments by Norwegian Bank/IBAN bank transactions or automatic reimbursement to the credit card
Cancellations and refunds: Cancellation of participation must be done by mail to yngvar.thomassen@stami.no with copy to post@envirochem.no before 1 May, 2027. Cancellations before this date will be refunded the minus a 10% handling charge, while cancellations after this date will not be refunded. To process any refunds we kindly ask you to register your bank account number (Norwegian bank-account for national and IBAN for international participants) in the Web registration form (in case automatic reimbursements on credit cards do not work) . Our conference Web registration system complies with EU-GDPR for safe storage of personal information such as bank-ID-information.
